Global Talent Visa
Global Talent visa is introduced by UK government as a replacement of exceptional talent visa (Tier 1), to attract and retain top and exceptionally talented individuals from the world who are highly skilled in their fields, Including Academia and research, Digital technology, Arts and Culture.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply through Global Work Visa route, you must be at least 18, Leader or Potential Leader who can demonstrate exceptional and promising talent in one of the following fields:
- Academia And Research
It is expected that applicant demonstrate exceptional abilities, contributions and achievements in their field. Including science, medicine, engineering, humanities and social sciences.
- Digital Technology
An applicant must demonstrate exceptional skills, innovations, expertise and contributions in this field. Which includes financial technology, Gaming, Cyber security, Artificial intelligence. This can be evident from past work experience, awards and achievements. Also, a certificate or a letter by reputable digital organisations will add a weight to an application.
- Arts and Culture
To qualify for this visa in Arts and Culture, an applicant will have to demonstrate exceptional abilities and expertise in this field which can be further supported with the record of notable performances, portfolio of work, exhibitions, certificates and awards by renowned artistic organisations such as Arts Council England. Proofs of achievements and endorsements will help to highlight applicant’s exceptional talent and potential in the field of Arts and Culture.
How to Apply?
There are two steps through which an applicant can apply for this visa. Endorsement by a designated endorsement body or based on holding prestigious prize. To apply for this visa, applicant will be required to complete an online application form on the UK Visas and Immigrations website. This application requires an applicant to provide personal information, details of Global Talent visa endorsement or prestigious award, supporting documents to justify required eligibilities.
Global Talent Visa Requirements
For the Global Talent visa, specific requirements vary depending on the field and application route.
